Mobilität in der Schweiz - Ergebnisse des Mikrozensus Mobilität und Verkehr 2010
On average, each Swiss resident covered a daily dis-tance of almost 37 kilometres within Switzerland in 2010. Compared with 2005, the daily distance increased by about 4%, which is primarily attributable to rail kilometres. These figures are from the Mobility and Transport Microcensus conducted by the FSO and the ARE.Year2012

For the improved appraisal of travel behaviour reactions to changes in transport supply, including prices, the ARE commissioned a Stated Preference (SP) 2010 on personal transport behaviour survey with the support of a number of cantons and the Swiss Federal Railways. With SP surveys, possible travel behaviour changes of the respondents are analyzed by presenting them different choice scenarios with varying attributes.Year2012
